Rosh HaShanah Schedule 5772/2011

Erev Rosh HaShanah, Wednesday, September2 8, 2011:    

6:30pm Services Begin Promptly, followed by light oneg


Rosh HaShanah Day 1, Thursday, September 29, 2011: 

Rosh HaShanah services are steeped in the liturgy of the high holidays and also include creative readings, reflections delivered by congregants on liturgical and chosen themes, and traditional torah reading.  We also bring all the young children upstairs to help us process with the torah and give them a special blessing.  

9:00am Meditation 

9:30am Holiday Services Begin

10:30am Tots’ Service (ages 0-4) (Downstairs)

11:30am (Approximately, after the Torah Processional & Blessing 

            Children’s Service (ages 5-12)  (Downstairs)

Potluck Vegetarian Lunch Following Services (please bring plates and forks to limit waste)

                                                                    [Child Care from 9:30-1:30pm]


Rosh Hashanah Day 2, Friday, September 30, 2011

Rosh HaShanah Second Day services will feature more singing, creative readings and interactive discussions. This is a great service to explore the many modes of Jewish prayer!
