Judaism for Everyone: An Exploration of the Philosophy, Rituals, and Traditions of the Jewish People

A 20 Week Class beginning in January 2012, taught by Rabbi Lauren Grabelle Herrmann.

Judaism for Everyone is designed for anyone interested in learning about or exploring Judaism and aims to engage seekers and skeptics alike in the core principles and practices of the Jewish people.  Whether you are a fellow traveler of the Jewish community raising Jewish children, a curious member of another faith, a Hebrew school drop-out, a practicing Jew with less formal training in Jewish studies, an active participant in Judaism seeking a brush-up course, or someone choosing to join the Jewish people—this class is for you.

Classes will be held primarily on Thursday evenings from January – May 2012.  Exact dates of the class are: 1/5, 1/12, 1/19, 1/26, 2/2, 2/9, 2/16, 2/23, 3/1, 3/15, 3/22, 3/31 (Sat), 4/10 (Tues), 4/19, 4/26, 5/3, 5/10, 5/17, 5/24 & 5/31.*

Cost for Judaism for Everyone (20 Classes):

Kol Tzedek Member $350; Kol Tzedek Member Couple $500

Non-Member $400; Non-Member Couple $600

No one will be turned away from class due to inability to pay.

Class will be held at The Calvary Center for Community and Culture, 801 S.48th Street in the 48th Street Conference Room.
