The Kol Tzedek Rosh Chodesh group began in January 2006 and
continued for about a year and a half. It was a monthly gathering for
self-identified women to celebrate the new moon through ritual, song,
discussion, and food. It was a welcoming and casual gathering hosted in
a different woman's home each month. The ritual was structured around
the five senses and created anew each month by each person that offered
to contribute to it. It is not currently active. If you are interested
in reviving it and would like to know more about how the group
functioned in the past, please feel free to contact Shelley Levine at ShelleyRLevine@gmail.com. |
