THE KOL TZEDEK TORAH SCHOOL IS EXPANDING!
Kol Tzedek has a growing number of families with children. In response to this wonderful trend, Kol Tzedek's Torah School is growing and expanding in dramatic ways. We are shifting from a one-teacher and two-classroom model to a three-teacher, three-classroom model, with the creation of the new position of Education Director to oversee the school and implement our vision. Our three classes will be: Gan & Aleph (KG and 1st graders), Bet & Gimmel (2cd & 3rd) and Dalet & Hey (4th and 5th graders.) We have created an exciting approach to our curriculum and are including parents and families in new ways, including through a weekly opening "asefa" or assembly. We are moving to a beautiful and spacious rental facility, the University City Arts League on 4226 Spruce Street.
Kol Tzedek Torah School will continue to meet on Sunday afternoons, roughly 3 times a month, and one Shabbat morning a month for Shabbat School. Sunday sessions include a Mitzvah Day, family learning for Sukkot & Passover, and a field trip. We are committed to continuing to be a warm, experiential and creative learning community as we expand. Please read our KT Parent Handbook and contact us to learn more about how to enroll your child in this fantastic program!
