Volunteering

Kol Tzedek relies almost entirely on volunteer help for everything we do, and we're always looking for volunteers to help out with committees, special projects and all the work that goes into making the High Holidays run smoothly. You don't need to be a member--volunteering is a great way to learn what we're all about before you decide if you'd like to join.

Recurring Volunteer Opportunities and Special Projects:
  • High Holidays Volunteering:  We are seeking greeters, ushers, and help with set-up and clean-up. Email highholidays@kol-tzedek.org to sign up.
  • Shabbat Services:  If you can give a little time each month, or you regularly attend a Shabbat service, consider contacting religiouslife@kol-tzedek.org and he'll let you know how you can help regularly.
  • Simcha Band: Musicians should contact Jon Herrmann to keep Kol Tzedek's hottest band on a permanent sizzle.
  • Too busy but could volunteer from home? Are you web-savvy? Maybe you enjoy data entry or you could help with fundraising or online publicity? Send us an email at volunteering@kol-tzedek.org telling us how you'd like to help.

Thanks for being part of what makes Kol Tzedek work!
