This coming Friday evening, Kol Tzedek will put on another Kol Tehilla—complete with band and tons of ruach (spirit). There may even be spontaneous dancing around the chapel! It will be the last Kol Tehilla until after the High Holidays. There will be many guests and community members, so I’ll need some extra help ushering and greeting. The first shift for ushers and greeters is 6:15 to 6:45, the second one from 6:45 until 7:15. Since I’ll arrive extra early to set up the chapel and sound system, I don’t need additional help with those tasks. Please let me (Jim) know if you can help in any way by emailing logistics@kol-tzedek.org. Thanks so much! Putting on a Kol Tehilla is a lot of work—totally worth it—and it’ll be much easier with your assistance. Remember that 'avodah', or worship, can also be translated as work. |
