The Kol Tzedek office at 707 S 50th St also houses a small library of just over 700 books, ranging from Torah commentary to modern spirituality to children's books. You can view the collection using our online catalog.
The library is located in the front room of 707. The shelves along the back wall are Primary Sources (such as the Tanakh and Talmud), commentaries on those sources, and Reference materials. The shelves near the front windows are Secondary Sources: modern books, all in English. This includes a section of books belonging to the Jewish Farm School related to agriculture and the Earth. Each book has a spine label indicating what shelf it goes on, but there is no order within the shelves. The Primary Sources and Reference sections (back wall) are for IN-HOUSE use only. Books in the Secondary Sources section (near the windows) may be checked out by KT members. Here's how!
