Seder faq

Will there be live captioning or ASL Interpretation?
Yes, we will be providing both live captioning and ASL interpretation.
Will this be recorded?
No.
Who is invited?
This is for everybody, all ages, all levels of familiarity with the seder, all who are hungry for this experience, join us!
What will the seder be like?
This will be a creative second night seder. We will not be reading every word but we will touch on every element of a traditional seder, following the order of the Haggadah. The seder will be interactive and community-led. You will have a chance to connect in smaller groups. And there will be a singing team to weave song throughout the seder.
What about dinner?
There will be a 30-45-minute meal break for Shulchan Arukh and you can go into a breakout room or log out.
What about the food?
You provide the seder plate and food, we'll provide the seder. For details on how to assemble your seder plate, click here.
CAN I COME TO JUST PART OF IT?
Come to as much or as little as you want! We will spend the first part of the night communally recounting the Exodus story and then dive into the seder elements.
HOW LONG WILL THE SEDER BE?
The seder will be roughly three hours, including a dinner break. We have an order, but will not be keeping to a strict schedule. Tonight we are free!
WHAT HAGGADAH WILL WE BE USING?
We're making our own! If you have some art or poetry you would like to share, please send it to rabbimichelle@kol-tzedek.org. We will be screen-sharing the Haggadah during the seder and will also send it to you ahead of time to download and/or print.
