Dedicate a Machzor (High Holidays prayerbook)
Zoe Cohen, an artist and long-time Kol Tzedek member, has designed beautiful bookplates for our Machzorim, high holiday prayerbooks. These bookplates are not only beautiful, they also have special significance. Zoe designed the bookplate with a pattern based on an architectural detail from the former West Philadelphia Jewish Community Center at Cobbs Creek Parkway and Ludlow Avenue, linking our congregation to the Jewish history of West Philadelphia and symbolizing the way in which the community has renewed itself. You can learn how the bookplate image was created from this blog post by Zoe Cohen.
This is a wonderful way to honor a lifecycle moment or important people in your lives while supporting Kol Tzedek. Zoe donated her time and talent, and all proceeds go toward Kol Tzedek’s operations and programs.

We need your help to grow Kol Tzedek!
Kol Tzedek is committed to the revitalization of Jewish life in Philadelphia. We aim to bring ritual, texts, and tradition to anyone who wants to access them. We are committed to high-quality prayer and learning experiences that excite and inspire all who participate. In order to accomplish these goals, we rely on the support of members, guests, family, friends, and others who value the work we do and the fact that we are reaching people who might not otherwise affiliate with an organized Jewish community.
